I am having a weird issue
Plex is saying my server is not accessible from the outside world, I port forwarded the port on my router (running DD-WRT) but when I use my phone and a ssh tunnel to manually connect to Plex from the external ip address it works just fine but still says the error.
Tried trouble shooting but don’t really know where to look for more help

An SSH tunnel has nothing to do with Plex or it’s remote access ability. You can turn off remote access, but i you use an SSH tunnel, you can still get to it. That’s what the SSH tunnel is for.
Don’t ssh into your network to test remote access… You need to access it using your public IP and the port you opened. Or you can sign into your Plex account on the server and use the Plex website to connect remotely.
Ok I was testing access to my house from my dedicated server to test outside acces, I also used my mobile network to test it and it worked, I’m trying to figure out why plex doesn’t recognize that it’s avalible from outside networks
