Ok, so I have have all three fantastic four movies and all the spiderman movies and I was having issues with Plex loading up the spiderman movies right until I put the year they came out in the title, I had the same issue with the fantastic 4 movies so I put the year of release on them as well and it still pulls the one that came out in 2015 up as the 2005 version I’m not sure what else to do to fix that so any help is appreciated
You cannot just rename a file. Plex remembers the movies you have/had and will just reuse the old info. To get the movie to match correctly after renaming, you need to move the file out of the plex library folder, update the library to remove these movies from Plex, empty the trash (if not already done automatically), clean the bundles, put the files back and update 1 more time.
