Plex doesn't works when my Sony TV switches on after stand by

When I use my plex app after my Sony TV has been switched on during stand by, I don’t hear any sound during music playback and the track starts again (and again and again) after 3 seconds of playing. The problem started after a firmware upgrade from Sony to version v6.6545 on my Android TV. Only after completely restarting the TV, Plex works as it should be.

I think that the problem can only be solved via a firmwareupgrade from the Sony or Plex side . However, if someone knows a better work-around than a hard reset, I really would like to hear that.
