Music playback error when changing track or album

Hi,
When I change tracks or music albums in plex on my Sony TV, quite quickly, I get the message “an error has occurred while playing this file” after which it is impossible to play any music from plex app but it is still possible to watch a film.
I have to kill plex and restart it to be able to play music again.
This problem has persisted for almost 1 year, and only on Sony TVs, despite various updates.
Do you have any idea where this might be coming from?

Do you mean that you stop the Plex app on the TV or the Plex server on your NAS?

Is your Sony TV connected via Ethernet or WiFi?

I kill the app on the TV and the TV is connected via Ethernet.

Well that blows my theory out the window … lol

I was thinking it may have been a WiFi issue. Have you tried connecting via WiFi (if that is possible)?

Have you tried uninstalling the app on the TV and then reinstalling it?

You would need to check all of the settings again.

I can try with wifi but as I explained when it arriveI can watch movies and the connection with the server continue to works.
I try to delete and reinstall the application on the TV but without results.

I’ve tried restarting the server when the application crashes, but the error persists. So I think the problem is with the application. I’ve tried disabling the input/output cache in the application, but nothing works.
