Plex dont close services

Hello,
I notice that Plex server dont close its own services and some of them is still being openned and blocking RAM for no reason for example:

Its some kind of issue or its just some settings that have to be changed? Just to be clear if I restart Plex media server then amost all services close and dont open again before next maintenance.
Its on Windows 10 (1803 build 17134.2208) latest public Plex server server 1.40.0.7998

You definitely want to switch to the 64bit version of Plex server.

Alright and does it need some speacial procedure how to do it or just reinstall? I mean I dont want to lost Plex metadata or configurations.

The “clean” method would be to uninstall the 32bit version beforehand, then install the 64bit version.
However: if you have something like 3rd-party “Registry cleaners” and/or “Uninstaller” apps and use them, these can cause your Plex data to be erased.
In which case you better make sure there is nothing like these mentioned apps active on your system

But I’m told it should equally be possible to just start the 64bit installer, which will automatically remove the 32bit version.
Still, I’d ensure that the current Plex server is not running while doing so.

It’s really disappointing to see the same misguided advice being given to others when we’ve already discovered at least one root cause for this problem:

PMS on Windows Server spawning tons of “Plex Transcoder.exe” processes causing Windows to crash - Plex Media Server / Desktops & Laptops - Plex Forum

OK reinstallation with x64 version looks succesfull. So this should do the trick with this issue of Plex RAM “occupation”?

It is a good basis for further investigation at least. The 64bit version is in general running more stable than the 32bit version.
For now, keep monitoring the processes after the nightly maintenance cycle.
