I recently saw the same issue. 1.7.6 and 1.8.0 were working for me but 1.8.1 seemed to have an issue. I have been working with a Plex Ninja the last few days since getting back from a vacation. He thinks he has discovered an issue with the logs and config infirnarion I have provided and has forwarded to Plex Engineers. Web UI showed one Connect with two tuners in use when my other device was actually the one being used.

Only way around this major product flaw is to downgrade all the way back to 1.6.1
Its now release 1.9.2,
Only silence on a fix.
I have two connects and I’m seeing the same issue as described here. Recording shows triangle with “an unknown error has occurred” message. It happened again while I was writing this message. Also, one of the CONNECT devices shows 2 tuners - 3 recording now. The other CONNECT shows 2 tuners - 1 recording now.
I hope that they get these bugs worked out soon. The wife will not be happy if some of her shows don’t get recorded and we could have recorded them with DirecTV.
I also noticed that after a little while, the triangle and error message changes to the normal recording status. I find that this is due to my setting to “Allow partial airings”. I say this mainly because when the recording finishes, the show is missing the beginning of it.
If there is anything you need from my setup (i.e. log files, configurations, etc.), just let me know and I will be happy to provide it. Anything that can get this working correctly.
