just reporting that the current release of plex ( 1.7.3.3937 ) at least with WinTV-HVR-955Q saves the stream in corrupted form.
I started a similar thread in https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/275597/dvr-live-tv-not-working-with-hauppauge-digital-tv-tuner-for-xbox-one … I have done some back and forth with Hauppauge support as well since.
I can confirm the Hauppauge card is loaded properly by the kernel and works (double checked in My TV app and Kaffeine)… so that leaves Plex as the only culprit.
I am attaching relevant Plex Media Server.log and Plex Tuner Service.log as well as the .mkv from the stream Plex recorded.
It is also worth noting, i think, that if i have transcode option enabled (granted, it does say… experimental) it is a complete disaster.
