On an android device running 6.0 and plex client 6.3.2.1332@5ee6ec87(3.8.0) i don’t see any options to view the program guide or recording schedule.
Both Plex LIve and DVR are working on my iPhone & ipad and web interface i can setup recordings. Is there any flags to enable on Android. I don’t see any options in settings. My server version is plexmediaserver-1.8.0.4109-42bd8c63f.x86_64
I was looking for this option as well. Turns out, live TV is integrated into the program guide. Just find the show you want to watch, click on it and hit play.
I don’t have a program guide.
My first option is playlist followed by channels then all my folders containing my content.
Iv noticed “Recording Schedule” and “Program Guide” get hidden for me sometimes on Android.
A workaround that works for me is to change Location (the dropdown on the top bar) to Local content and then back to my Server. That always seems to bring those buttons back.
plex says you need android 6.3. it all shows on my other android 6.0.1 but nothing but loading. my android tv is same version of phone but doesnt show at all.

No, you need the Plex app version 6.3 or newer.
Thanks, @Sdaly switching between local and server brought schedule and program guide into view. It appears that in TV view is what is affecting this. When I switch to TV mode, which is how I’m running the device that is when schedule and guide disappear. It also appears in TV mode you can’t see local content so I can’t switch modes, to test Sdaly suggestion.
