Plex DVR plays back DVR'ed shows/movies in MP3 only on one channel, all others playback in H264?

I have an HDHomeRun EXTEND dual tuner and DVR from about 40 channels. The channel that I enjoy the most records the files with a .ts extension just like all the other channels do, but only uses a .MP3 for playback instead of H264 during playback?. I can’t find a setting to change this and am somewhat lost. I can watch shows in real-time on my tv with no issue on this same channel. How do I change the playback codec, and why does this one channel out of 40 use a different playback codec?
