Plex DVR removing scheduled recordings on its own

I not sure if this issue is connected but I installed the latest PMS version (1.15.1.707) yesterday and today PMS removed the 5 shows scheduled for today. They were on the schedule earlier today but now when I look, they are gone. When I check the EPG on “Live TV & DVR” the shows are still there.

The five recordings were all part of season requests (2 are daily news shows, 3 are weekly shows). Recordings for later episodes are still on the schedule. When I try to add the missing episodes back to the schedule, I am able to do it for the 2 daily news shows but not for the weekly shows. In fact one of the weekly shows was airing and PMS would not let me record it even though it would play it as live TV.

I have refreshed the EPG (which succeeded) and restarted the computer on which PMS is running but the behavior hasn’t changed. It is almost as though the EPG shown in “Live TV & DVR” is separate and different from the EPG used to schedule the DVR. I request a show from my EPG but unless the DVR’s EPG has the same show it won’t schedule it.

Needless to say my confidence that shows I schedule will actually be recorded is low.

I’m having very much the same issue where items would disappear. Some of have found changed their names slightly on the guide refresh. Example Nightly News when to Nightly New with Lester Holt. but other shows that I chose to click just this episode, show as recording but not scheduled and in the recording priority screen it shows NO airings up and coming. I am super puzzled.

Actually figured it out from another post. Had an old episode that had the wrong meta data/episode information in my TV shows folder. I cleaned out the folder and did an empty trash in plex, scanned my TV shows library and it showed up as a scheduled recording again. It has something to do with guide/episode using the same name and existing files.
