Why is scheduled recording not showing up / or recording at the time

Why is it I am seeing odd behavior with the DVR scheduling. I have The Simpsons to record weekly, and set to new episodes only. In the first image it shows that it is set to record this coming Sunday

But in DVR Schedule, it shows other shows being recorded this week, but nothing on Sunday’s list

What is going on? For the last few weeks it hasn’t been recording the show, but its been scheduled for new episodes for a while now.

Also, in the “recording priority” it shows “no upcoming airings” for The Simpsons, but the guide shows there is a new episode on the schedule for this Sunday.

What’s going on here???

Previous EPG error.

Plex thinks it has already recorded this episode or you already have a file with this season/episode number. You can delete the episode if it exists and then change the recording to new and repeats.

I just checked. The Simpsons S31 is fubar in my library. S3105 recorded as S31E10 (with an aired date in the future!?!) and a couple other episodes file names are different from what Plex says. How an EPG provider can fudge up the broadcast prime time schedule is beyond me.

Edit: one episode was skipped entirely. Six months on and the guide data is still untrustable.

You will have to manually fix all the issues.

I don’t have that episode, it hasn’t been recording for about 3 weeks now. Missed the Halloween of Horrors, which made me sad :frowning:

The S/E data on the simpsons is incorrect since S31E05.

What if I just delete the entire season? And have it start over again??

If I were you I’d look at the date the files were created and fix the incorrect episode number, then tell Plex to rescan your library.
