Thats what I entered however get the following error, am I still entering it incorrect?
Error is saying the Remote Server returned an error 404 Not Found. That sounds like the tuner device is rejecting the request to tune the channel. The http part of the command is what Plex is using to tune the channel to record a show. I copied that part directly out of your logs for the failed recording attempt. This was found by looking for a line shortly after the recording start that says âFinal URLâ. What type of device is this? Do you have the software that came with the tuner installed, or just the driver installed?
i have a leadtek winfast DTV1000s card. I have had just the drivers installed up until now. I just installed the full software and got the same powershell fault
I know the card isnt on the supported card list but has worked on every other PC PVR software to date
I get the same problem, but Iâm using the supposedly supported Hauppauge QuadTV tuner. Only seems to happen on certain programs frustratingly and has been working fine up until around 6 weeks ago. I think a Plex Server update has caused the problem.

Using HDHomeRun Tuner (3 tuners) - 20180817 version
I watched Plex try to record the show: It recorded for about 5 seconds, then failed with the error.
Than maybe a minute later, plex tried recording the show again. After 5 secs, it failed.
Plex tried 3 times to record the show.

P.S. Going into Plex Recordings Calendar the next day, that show no longer shows up in yesterdayâs list of shows to record. It does create a tracking problem in that if shows that donât record for some reason, are removed, it prevents you from realizing that you even have a problem. Just sayingâŠ

I think for me it happens if the recording times overlap a little. despite having a homerun expand quad tuner.
Please is there any suggestions, i am having the same transcoder error when trying to record, using HDHomerun Prime.
from the last 40 to 50 recordings there were only 5 that were completed. and these wehere the ones that did not overlap.
from the overlapping recordings not a single one worked. despite having a 4 tuner device.
it looks like the latest version did fix the problem. overlaping recordings are fine now
and the behavior looks to be quite nice also. overlapping recordings on the same channel donât use a second tuner but only one.
