Will Plex add the ability to watch Live TV from Cablecard and also watch/record encrypted channels.

The answer is something along the lines of not for the foreseeable future but never say never.
If I were a betting man I’d give 1,000 to 1 odds you’ll never see this in Plex.
I’d second this with 100,000 to 1 odds you’d never see it come to all servers OS’s Plex supports.
I’d give 1,000,000 to 1 odds it wouldn’t ever come to all servers and all clients.
How’s that for confidence it won’t happen?

PS that’s not based on anything official but strictly my own understanding of what’s involved in trying to get certified for DRM compliance. So yea, I’m not saying NEVER but I’m saying it’s VERY HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
