Hi Plex, I need some help with my EPG. I recently set up my folks with an EPG guide in XMLTV format and it works flawlessly. However, upon trying to set up my own (using the same script) I cannot even set up the DVR as it tells me “Unknown Status” when I give it my XMLTV File. I have no idea why it doesn’t work, so I will attach my log file and 2 different XMLTV files I created using different methods (both of which give the same error). Hopefully you can help me solve the problem. Cheers.

I have the same exact issue. I’m running TVheadend to consolidate all my tuners and save its XMLTV-formatted version of the EPG to a file using wget http://localhost:9981/xmltv/channels -O guide.xml in a place where Plex can access it.
Upon giving Plex the file in the setup dialog, it comes back with “Unknown Status” after one second, while all my other programs consuming the exact same file appear to have no issues whatsoever with it.
Unfortunately, I can’t find anything relating to the XMLTV parser in my logs, so I would be grateful for any hints on how to narrow down this problem.
