Plex---> Echo via Android Phone

Hi all,
I’ve searched this topic and I’m surprised that I can’t find content on the matter.
…apologies if I’ve missed it.

I have a number of echo pairs in my home.
Each has a name and they show up in Amazon Music AND Spotify.
After adding the Plex Skill to my Alexa app I can only now see the Sonos pair that I have from the Android app on my phone. I don’t see a list of any of the individual Echo speakers.

…I was hoping to see the same kind of list that I’d see in Spotify.

Additionally, when I ask my Echo devices to play Plex music it says it can’t and then plays something else.

Can someone please direct me to tutorials I need or fill in a couple of blanks for me?

Since the end of September, 1st generation Echoes are not working with Plex (currently). Given you don’t mention which Echo you’re using… could that be the problem?

All my Echo devices are 2nd gen.

Does Tidal have this feature?
…and is this why the Plex “video” or standard Android media interface app, doesn’t have the feature? Is it to encourage sales of Tidal?
