Thanks for the quick reply. I unforunately still have the same issues. and Iā€™m getting this message on the log

This all happened after i recently upgraded my synology nas to DSM7. Follow the guide to reinstall plex.

I think I may be experiencing something similar. I moved my server today but am having issues connecting through plex.tv securely. Same errors,

Not sure if it showing duplicate servers. I had signed out of my old Server after migrating and not before.

429 = RATE LIMITED

I reset the cert but youā€™ll now need to keep it off for a while until it releases from being limited.

Normally, when i reset the cert, the 429 is cleared. Which server name should I have reset ?

Unfortunately I am stuck back in the same place as well. Initially, it looked like things were going well until the request for the certificate timed out:

Then, 15 minutes later, Plex retried the request and got rate limited again.

Cosmo-plex is the server name.

Do i need to shut the server down for sometime after you reset the cert?

Yepā€¦ unfortunately you need wait now.

For you and all who are getting 429 (Rate Limited) state ā€“

  1. Stop the server
  2. Wait 60 minutes
  3. Try again
  4. If it doesnā€™t come right up
  5. Server stop
  6. Repeat
