Tried accessing my Plex server remotely and I keep getting error: s4032 (Manifest) how can I fix this?

I’m getting the same error on newly added titles but not older titles.

I had the same error.
I could fix it with installing the h264-lib for ubuntu.

For example with: sudo apt install mpv

Thanks - that worked (sudo apt install mpv) for me on Firefox v70.0.1 (64-bit), Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

Firefox and Edge no longer work for me, chrome is fine. I Do not have secure connections enabled.

I got error code s4032 (manifest) when trying to play a movie on a tablet. I have windows and don’t know how I would install the h264-lib for ubuntu.

just started getting this on my Windows 10 box too… was working perfect a week ago, today no go.
Error code: s4032 (Manifest)

So I had the same issue in Firefox on Pop_OS Linux while trying to play x264 mkv’s from my Plex server on my LAN but nothing in this thread fixed my issue.

Searching the web a bit more led me to a thread on Reddit where someone got it to work after installing VLC. That worked for me too.

sudo apt-get install vlc

I hope this helps anyone that finds this thread.
