Do we expect there to be any openings for tvOS on the new Plex Experience Preview anytime soon?
I’m not sure the last time the beta tester list was cleaned up, but could we perhaps have another cleanup for inactive beta testers to make room for new people interested in helping out?
I would second this. I use the beta app a lot and I think it was probably wise to limit it to a small group at first, since the initial release of the beta saw it in very rough shape, but as it is now, its almost at feature parity with the release app (which isn’t to say that it doesn’t still need a lot of work to bring it to feature parity compared to the Roku app). I think allowing more people into the beta and letting them see the significant progress being made would probably help to bring more positive sentiment to the Apple TV Plex userbase, which is sorely needed.
It also wouldn’t be a bad idea if a Plex dev could give some comment as to whether they think an official release will happen this year. Not even asking for a definite eta, but with the state of the app, its really hard to imagine that the official release won’t be this year. I think if Plex devs are confident of that, mentioning that would also help engender positivity in the userbase.
