I have a show (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) that Plex is failing to detect intros. It is a single season with 64 episodes. Other media servers such as Emby detect them just fine.
I suspect the reason is because there are multiple intros throughout the series: https://fma.fandom.com/wiki/Fullmetal_Alchemist:\_Brotherhood#Opening_Themes

I believe the key is “Less than half of episodes have an intro. Clearing intros for …”. Several of the intros span ~9-14 episodes. The first intro, for example, spans episodes 1-14. If Plex’s logic is simply “if 14/64 <= 0.5, then failed” then I can see why it’s failing.
I don’t have any more insight than that as to the intricacies of Plex’s algorithm, but I feel like a show should be able to have several intros throughout a season. For example, I have another show, “Akame ga Kill!”, which has two intros across a single 24-episode season, and Plex detects those intros just fine.
