Plex fails to install on Xbox One (0x80070570)

I had this app running on my Xbox One for several months with no issue. One day, I tried to launch it and it said “Something went wrong.” and gave me an error code (0x80070570). I’ve contacted Xbox support and we’ve tried reinstalling, clearing the system cache, and even resetting everything but keeping the games and apps. Support claimed that they’ve tried everything they could and to contact Plex support since other apps work fine and indicating it an issue with the app.

I’m worried I’ll have to completely reset the xbox and redownload ~500GB of stuff just to find out I’m running into the same error. Is there anything I can do. Is this a known issue? Searches for that error code on this forum only shows results in the Windows section, but none for the Xbox One.

Never seen that issue before. Try uninstalling the app, going to https://plex.tv/users/edit and unlinking your Xbox, restarting your console and then installing again.

I’m sorry, I didn’t get to try this. I ended up wiping the xbox completely (including apps and games) and that resolved the issue. Thank you for your response though.

Instead of updating by selecting the game through home screen and being prompted to update try:
Going to My Apps and Games
Select updates
choose you game or app that needs to be updated
