I know it was previously said that plex does not alter your files, but given how plex gathers meta data from various sources, I think it would be fantastic to have an option to allow plex to rename your files correctly and add all of the correct data to each file. I know you have FileBot and other third-party apps that do something similar, but plex could do it just as well, if not better.
There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing such an option. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing or cannibalizing votes.
