I didn’t have this problem with this movie - my files are named how Plex likes, and the new agent matched it correctly for me - but I have had this issue in the past.
I’m not absolutely certain if Plex needs to be stopped before running this update. Can’t hurt.
sqlite3 com.plexapp.plugins.library.db "update metadata_items set added_at=datetime('2020-08-20 12:34:56') where title = 'Ava' and metadata_type = 1;"
This assumes you don’t have other movies named “Ava” exactly.
Just came across the same problem with Ava. My file was named Ava (2020).mp4 and it wasn’t showing up anywhere in Plex. Or so I though, it must have been showing up as a second copy of Onward. I fought with it for an hour then tried re-naming the file to Ava3 (2020).mp4 and finally the file popped up as unmatched. I manually matched it to the Ava movie and all is good now. But why on earth was Ava being matched with Onward?
PMS 1.19.5.3112 for windows
I am using 1.20.1, but I tend to give new things a while to settle down…
and to begin with there were a few issues, limit of 10 cast members, lack of id for third party tools and some problems with subtitles all spring to mind.
I think these may all have been addressed, but am still going to wait a while.
(Most of my media is in google drive and don’t know if plex is going to try download loads of it during a scan with the new agent.)
Pardon me - did I miss the news that HELL froze over?
(JK - kinda - why would I change Agents from the one Filebot and I are getting 99.99% accuracy out of? - rhetorical - 'cause nobody would - I’m nobody - so I wouldn’t…lol)
