I run Plex on a Synology NAS and access from 5 fire tv cubes/sticks. The latest Fire TV update sucks, the UI is terrible. My solution was to install the Samsung App on my TV as it was the same as the previous Fire TV version.

- Who is responsible for the Fire TV app? Plex or Amazon
- Will the Samsung TV app get updated and trashed as well.
