During playback, randomly the appleTV remote becomes unresponsive (cannot pause/FF/RW, cannot go back to the main screen), double click on the “TV” button to get to app switcher still works, and have to slide up to quite the app. When the app seems to be exited, audio is still playing in the background for a short period. Also playback progress is not recorded (e.g. shows that my progress at 30% where I have already finished 70% of media)
This happened quite randomly, and I can’t reliably reproduce it even trying to play the same media again, seems not media specific.
