I have a Dune Smart H1 and a Synology NAS DS214Play. All my movies are stored on my Synology. I can stream the movies to my TV with DLNA but some MKV can't be played. Therefore, I would like to know if it's possibly to install Plex on a Dune with this setup.

I have emplexer (first version) running fine on a Dune Smart D1 and Plex on a Synology NAS.
Dune is getting the content over SMB. Best is to used cabled network for HD.
Just google on Emplexer. The developer is very responsive and working on a completely rewritten version 2.
That said, I would like to see an official plex client for the Dune mediaplayers, as they are the best on the marked IMHO.
