Plex for Firestick can't playback without freezing

Within the past few days, the firestick Plex app started having issues playing back programs that were recording on the DRV.

  1. Play from start no longer works.
  2. Playing back a recording program will play for approximately 3 minutes and then end with a “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again”
  3. When playing the video back, the heads up doesn’t work at all. Pressing 6 o’clock position on the firestick remote brings up display but you can’t see the “yellow line” indicating where the playback is in the recording.

There is also an issue with normal viewing live tv on teh DVR. It appears that everything works but after approximately 3 minutes the screen freezes and you must exit the dvr and reselect the channel.
