So this problem has only popped up in the last few days but it’s a bit annoying. Anyone else had it or know a fix for it?
So everything is displaying in a different language. For instance the words “Season” and “Episode” in a TV series. “Playlist” etc… basically anything other than library names or tv/movie titles.
Today it appears to be in Dutch, yesterday it was in Chinese or Japanese.
Hello. I’m also seeing this issue where menu is intermittently not in English (even though settings for LG tv and Plex are English). I’m using Plex Version 1.17.0.1841. Its quite annoying. This only seems to affect the menu options, such folders names, what looks like in Greek. This doesn’t affect the audio playback on the content at least.
I actually managed to fix this…
Go into Plex on your TV and go to settings (top right) you can change the language in there. Been in English ever since I changed it 
Great answer and fixed it for me. Once the language has changed from English, this takes a little guesswork to find the right menu.
Select top right menu next to your login name
Choose the second menu item
When the settings dialog appears, choose the second item on the right hand pane - this should show a list of languages to select from
My bloody PLEX interface on new LG tv appears to be in Russian for some reason. Can’t find anything or figure out where language change option is!! That procedure mentioned above just logged me out again FFS
Your home screen for Plex on LG go to your Avatar and settings
