Plex for Mac and Dolby Vision Profile 5

Can anyone provide solid info on how the Plex client (for Mac specifically, but the web client or any others if relevant) handles playback of Dolby Vision content that uses profile 5? When I attempt to play profile 5 content, I get the green and purple coloration. The client appears to play Profile 7 content just fine. All video files are .mkv. I’m on macOS 14.5 Sonoma on an M3 Air. I’ve also tried playing the profile 5 content with Infuse, which worked just fine.

The Plex app for iPad seems to have no problem playing profile 5 content.
