Plex for Mac the media you're trying to access doesn't seem to exist

Server Version#:4.30.2
Player Version#:1.10.0.1208-daa6b641
Been using Plex app for Mac for years. Purchased new Mac mini and loaded it up. Worked great for about a month. Now when opening the app, I am greeted by: “Media not found. The media you’re trying to access doesn’t seem to exist.” I can login to the web client on the same Mac and play all media with no issues. I can switch to a different user in the app and all media is found. iPad and Shield playback working as it should. I even installed the PMP for Mac and it works as well. Just can’t login to the app as the admin user on this new Mac so obviously it is something corrupted in my profile. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and get the same error. I would prefer to use the Mac app rather than the PMP for playback. Any ideas on how to correct this error?

I had the same problem this morning with my Plex for MacOS app. Updating the app, rebooting the machine (and the NAS), deleting the app and redownloading it did not solve the issue. I finally solved the issue by using a 3rd party app (Delete Apps by FIPLAB) to delete the Plex app and all settings on the hard drive. Then I redownloaded the latest version from Plex and installed. When I launched and logged back into my account, I had full access to my Plex library again. I don’t know what caused this, but the only solution to get it back was a complete wipe of Plex and a Re-install. FYI, I am on a Mac Mini 2018 running the latest version of Catalina.

Thanks Curtis! This worked perfectly for me as well. The Delete Apps by FIPLAB was free and seemed to do the trick. I am also running a Mac Mini 2018 with latest version of Catalina.
