Yesterday, I installed the Plex app on my PS4. Media streaming works flawlessly. Very cool!
However, I see some Asian characters are not displayed in the main UI. For example, Japanese characters are displayed perfectly, but Korean characters are not displayed at all. e.g. artist names, titles and any characters that are part of the main UI
What’s interesting is that the subtitles are displayed perfectly. Both Korean and Japanese characters in the subtitles are displayed exactly as I expected.
Would it be possible to make the main UI show Korean characters correctly as well? My guess is that the font the main UI uses to display the text does not have the Korean glyphs for some reason. I believe it’s not a big deal to include the Korean glyphs given that Japanese/Chinese have way more characters than Korean.
