The channel formerly known as the Plex for Plex Pass preview has graduated from its Plex Pass preview period! It is now available as the v4.0.0 to the official channel. Your Roku will update automatically within 24 hours or so, but there’s no need to wait, you can force the update by going into your settings and checking for a system update.

Note that this rewritten version doesn’t support legacy Roku models or non-HD displays. If that’s you, or you simply don’t like change, we’re making the old version of the channel available as Plex Classic. There won’t be any future development of that version, but it will continue to be available.
As a matter of housekeeping, we’re also making some changes in the forums. There’s been some great discussion on the preview channel in a Plex Pass-only section of the forums, and so that subforum is getting moved to https://forums.plex.tv/categories/roku-streaming-players. To keep things clear with the two different version, we have a separate subforum for Plex Classic at https://forums.plex.tv/categories/plex-classic-for-roku.
