The Plex app for Windows is not working for a specific user. It works with other user accounts on the same PC. I have uninstalled it and installed it multiple times. I can run plex from the plex site using a browser, but need the local app in case we are disconnected from the internet. It has worked fine in the past. Please advise.
I will give this a try and clear out the local user folders. Double checked and it seems the only user on that PC that actually works is the admin user. Both standard users didn’t work. Changed the standard users to admin and still didn’t work. I am skeptical clearing the user folders will fix it as it worked before I updated the software manually when the Update prompt I kept getting on the standard user accounts did not work.
