Plex for Windows app crashing my video driver

Server Version#:4.108.0
Player Version#: 1.77.3 (Downloaded and re-installed Sep 2, 2023 to attempt to fix crashes)

Since having the Plex Player update, every time I launch it’s very choppy and animations are not smooth (fade in of posters, loading circle, etc) and after a few seconds of trying to navigate, my video driver crashes.
I’m using a 3090 with nVidia drivers 537.13 (08/22/2023), and I can run pretty much everything else without issue - Baldur’s Gate 3, Plex Web player, etc.
Tried downloading and re-installing in case the last update went bad, but no luck there.
Anything else I should try?

When you did the uninstall did you manually delete the directory?

Uninstalling

Windows

To completely remove Plex for Windows from your Windows computer, first make sure Plex is not running.

Initiate an uninstall for Plex as normal via the Control Panel in Windows.

Then delete the following directory:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex

I hadn’t; doing that seems to have allowed it to start up and run without crashing the video driver. However, things are still fairly choppy once I signed in - Video decoding itself seems to be OK but menus, fade-in animations, etc still seem fairly choppy. Perhaps this is just caching; I’ll play a few videos and see if it gets better over time.
Thanks.
