Plex for windows (Your credentials have expired. Please sign in again.)

Server Version#: 1.41.0.8992 Latest basically
Player Version#: 1.101.0.223-94fa57b7 Latest

This is happening for over an year, and i gave up on it, and started using PlexHTPC, but i like the windows app more, so i had to post something here.

Everytime o open the windows app, i get the “Your credentials have expired. Please sign in again.” message, then i click ok, it opens chrome, i click sign-in and the app starts, then i close it, i open it then again and again.

Everything is updated, server and app are the latest, no firewalls and antiviruses or anything like that, Windows 10 up to date. Can it be because i use google login?

PlexHTPC and plex web in chrome all works fine, android and ios apps also work fine. Just the Plex for Windows app does this.

This may be the cause. Google may enforce faster expiration of login tokens.
Try signing in with your email address and your Plex password instead.

i did login when it asked me, with my user and pass, same thing happens

Can it be because i’m logged in on 2 more devices? My phone and a tablet?

No, that is a common use case.

Is it possible that one of your devices has a wrong date/time setting? This can happen if the CMOS battery is flat.

Nah man, its my pc, which is fine, and an android phone, android tablet and an iphone, all updated and connected and all that.
It’s been bugging me for such a long time, it’s annoying more than anything.
