Plex logs me out EVERY day. It’s starting to get pretty annoying. I have seen some very old posts where this is happening. Is this a bug that has been re-introduced?

Chrome on a Mac.

Do you have something setup to disable cookies or erase the cache of your browser?

I do not. I figured out that it happens when I close Chrome and then reopen it. Once it is open and I am logged in, it is fine until the next time it is closed.

Your browser needs to be able to save your credentials to the local storage. It sounds like something is blocking this. Double check your cookie settings in Chrome and make sure it is not blocking Plex.

I’ve been experiencing this a bit more frequently in browsers lately. Not every day, but maybe once a week or so… It’s something I’ve been dismissing as an annoyance since maybe a few updates back.

Has happened twice today. Each one of the 2 sessions I have logged on to update titles. Chrome on Windows 10. I posted in some other similar thread that is was intermittent but it seems to be getting more frequent.

Try using the plex.tv username and password. See if that behaves differently.

I’ve been getting this. Open the forums, clicked sign in. Page says you are already signed in and I expect to get the forums page, but then bumped back to the login screen.

Not every day, but it happens more frequently now than before.
Using plex user and pass on Google Chrome for Windows.

It is happening to me every day using IE or Chrome on my Win 10 desktop. Doesn’t happen with apps on iOS, Roku, or Samsung TV though. Just IE or Chrome on my Windows box. It is very annoying.

Yes, I’m seeing the issue here too. Not as frequent as daily, but frequent enough to be annoying. Logging in by Plex.tv login on Firefox.

It happens with me too. Once a week maybe. With Chrome on an android mobile, Chrome on 2 different desktop PC, Safari on iPad… so… with everything :smiley: It’s getting very annoying.

Strangely enough, a few days after I posted about it, it has stopped occurring.
