I typically select a number of files from the home screen on my desktop player and then cast them to my Xbox Series X.
Very often, while playing the media, the player on the Xbox can just silently crash. It just goes to the home screen and I have to start the process again. On other occasions, at the end of one episode it doesn’t do the countdown to the next episode and I have to click the next button to manually move. On such occasions it might play without further issue or (like it did just now) it will then show the countdown screen without the countdown while the audio from the video continues to play.
The last possibility is that when it has to move to the next video it gets stuck at the countdown screen. I cannot activate the next video from there. Whenever it shows the countdown screen without the countdown I cannot back out to stop the video or exit the player. I have to force it to stop and restart.
I’m using the latest player version and the latest server. This has been happening for a while though and I first had the problem when I was still using an Xbox One X. I wanted to know if this is a known issue, or if anyone else has experienced it.
