This complete rewrite of the app takes advantage of WebGL for better performance, and includes some new features like Skip Intro and a Live TV Guide.

Plex for Xbox One v2.58.0 is now rolling out to users

Users will be directed to the public preview when launching the app for the first time after this release. There are still a few features missing but we are working hard to bring parity with the old application.

The public preview app also contains some changes that may help with buffering issues affecting some users. With the help of Microsoft we have tracked down the potential cause in our player engine and have implemented a solution that should greatly improve the issue for most users.
