Recently, the Plex web app has stopped remembering which filters are currently in use.
I have a “Watch Later” library, in which I keep videos to be watched later and then deleted. I keep the filters for it set to Unplayed, and By Date Added, oldest first. Scenario is, I watch a video, I delete the video afterwards, Plex returns to “Watch Later” with the same filters set. This has been working ever since I installed Plex last year or the year before.
Now, after deleting a watched video, Plex stays in “Watch Later” (it’s still highlighted as the current library), but the filters are changed to All, and By Title. If I select the highlighted library, the filters are then correctly applied once more.
As these are generally short clips, contantly having to resort the display after every video has gotten really annoying. I don’t recall exactly when this started to occur, but it has not been very long, just the past week or two.
This is indepent of whether I’m using Chrome or Firefox to view the videos.
