The problems with NAS are almost always permissions. Assure your paths allow the PLEX agent and the subject file have their permissions correct - even if you didn’t change anything. OS Updates, PLEX updates, and software patches/fixes/additions/deletions might effect your infrastructure. Trace the whole path to one of your misbehaving files to see if this is an issue. It might be as simple as having your server automatically scan for content, or a PLEX Dance to clean up your DB and Metadata
Thanks. I’m trying to delete the Films Library section from Plex but when I confirm the Films library is still visible and 9 films are still there!? Obviously when I press play the file isn’t found.
I have also directed the Films library to an empty Test folder on the NAS drive.
I don’t think I can go any further until I am able to successfully delete the film library and start again.
How do I actually resolve a copy in progress problem? I won’t download directly to the location again but how do I fix the immediate problem of the scanner ignoring the directory? I’ve renamed the folders, directed Plex to other folders, tried to delete the library. Nothing is getting me back on track.
Are you trying to use your Terra Master for your server or your windows computer? Seems like you might have both installed and getting confused. To setup a server, you need to access the local Plex Web app that comes with PMS.
