Plex has stopped working???

Hello.

I was watching a video on Plex on AppleTV when it suddenly stopped and seemed to be buffering. When nothing happened I paused the video and scrolled back. It played but stopped again at the same point. Tried again and exact same result.

So I went to my computer to test the video on the browser and it wouldn’t load so I refreshed the page and now my Plex Server sony load.

Can anyone help? What other information do I need to provide?

I have the same problem as SilentWatcher. The AppleTV (4th gen) Plex app had been working fine then the last several days this show stopping and can’t connect to server started. The AppleTV has good signal strength and other internet apps work fine, while the Plex app is not connecting to server. Only restarting the AppleTV will clear the Plex connection problem.

This could be related to the bug that locks up and then reboots a Roku:

It does have a familiar ring to it. Sometimes my Roku won’t reboot itself after the lock-up, but at that point it’s over - reboot required.

I hear there’s a fix, or at least a process leading to a fix in the works. If that is the case that could be good for you guys, but you better raise the alarm over on the Apple TV Forum just in case:

A quick look down the page didn’t reveal any similar issues - so raise the alarm.
