[Plex Home] Default audio and subtitles for users

Hello,

 

Plex Home is available (at least on some clients), and it's a blessing!

 

But there is a functionnality missing for me : default audio and subtiltes.

 

When settings default audio and subtitles, on the server settings, it applies only to the admin users. It would be great that either :

  • Each user can select its default audio and subtitles
  • Or, at least, that the settings for the admin user (the settings of the server) applies to all users.

Yes in Plexmbc this is a major problem, not being able to even select subtitles in transcoding as a default setting on the server (And you cant select subtitles manually)

Early 2021 clean-up: implemented (language preference for audio/subtitles are available in the account settings of home users as well)
