Plex Home options to create Managed Accounts do not appear

i don’t see the ability to add manage accounts in the settings plex home options. I believe I’m in a limbo state as I took over a plex server that had a previous Plex pass owner (my roommate). Please help!

You need to be logged in as the server’s owner. It looks that you are merely accessing the server as a “sharee” user.
Connect the server directly with your own user account.
