Plex Home Screen "Something went wrong" when I unpin Live TV & Discovery

I have no desire for Live TV and Discovery. I want to only see things that are on my server. I don’t want to see clutter for things I do not have access to. However, if I try and this section I get no home screen at all. I just get:

Something went wrong

There was an error loading your home screen. Please try again in a few minutes.

Of note I only have this issue on the webUI. When I hide Live TV and Discovery, I can still see the home screen on my android devices.

Have you tried the hosted web app?

Same issue with the hosted web app.

Which web browser type are you using?
Are there any browser add-ins installed?
Is there an internet filter in your home network present (like e.g. Pi-Hole)?

I’ve tried with Firefox and Chrome. I’ve tried with add-ons installed and completely bare-bones installation. I’ve tried with and without Pi-Hole installed. I have I had all the home recommendations turned off for all my libraries so it would just show me Continue Watching.

I only want to see Continue Watching on my home screen.

Maybe try to disable the media source as a whole in your account settings https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources

They are disabled. The issue is when is there needs to be something other than “continue watching” on the home screen.

Do you have all your own libraries unpinned as well?

My libraries are not unpinned, but I do not have recommendations on.

If the libraries are pinned, the only way I could see there being no continue watching is if you chose “exclude from home screen” for every library

I have continue watching, I just get the error if I don’t have recommendations and I unpin Live TV & Discovery.
