I am experiencing the windows 10 app crashing upon selecting and playing movies or tv shows. When I use plex HT it never crashes. I like the new interface , because the mouse make it easy to use, verses the keyboard. But i have to open at least 3 to 4 times before it works! Help any thoughts?
second issue is picture freezing with the little circle going around like its thinking . no issues using plex HT???
Have you updated your Win 10 plex app recently? I used to have that problem a couple versions ago (where the app would crash then it would be fine) but an update a month or so ago fixed it.
A suggestion to work around the issue at hand; the PlexMediaPlayer now has a working Web frontend integrated to it - so you could use the mouse support that that gives and rely upon the better backend that comes with PMP.
