I already described this one in an earlier post in the Plex HTPC thread when it was in beta state but forgot to ask again. When watching a DVD rip with Plex HTPC and resolution switching turned on, the Tv is switched to a corresponding “DVD” mode. However modern operation systems (tested on windows and linux) screw this one up and make wrong adjustments to the actual signal. In my case, the TV shows a very small, poorly scaled, rectangle of an image in the middle of the screen. This makes old DVD stuff basically unwatchable, without digging through the menus and turning off resolution switching first.
Maybe it could be implemented to only allow resolution as low as 1280x720 upon mode switch?
Thanks!
