Version 1.5.1.2629-7d88eee0 was just released (Introducing Plex HTPC!). The auto-update mechanism should work when you restart the app but if not you can grab it from the above link. The notable changes are:

  • Bumped web-tv-client to 5.24.1-73a7aec
  • MPV on Mac will use the no-copy videotoolbox rendering with hardware decoding.
  • MPV on Windows will use the no-copy d3d11-egl and dxva2-egl rendering with hardware decoding.

The aforementioned version should fix this.
