Plex HTPC
Player Version#:1.54.0.4072
Account section in Settings.
Text formatting is messed up. All other Settings menus are fine.
GPU is a new RTX 4060 on a 4 day old 13th gen i7 desktop sending to a 65 inch Samsung 4K TV.
Driver up to date (also tried previous driver).
I’ve reverted to the previous version.
I have no interest in the Discover options, even if the formatting was correct.
I’m also turning off autoupdate.
Same issue on our Samsung TV Plex app.
Seeing the same issue. Also having problems with 1.54.0 in all other menus. The whole app is a stuttering mess both in navigation of menus, and video playback.
Update: I just updated my RTX 4070’s driver to latest, and the stutter went away. Not sure what that was about, but seems to have fixed it. The menu text glitch remains though.
I can not reproduce the issue, however, on my end, I have other ones… (see other thread…)
As this is not only occurring on Plex HTPC but also on other platforms like Samsung Smart TV or LG… Would you mind, adding those platforms to the thread tag? Maybe so we have the chance of getting more attention?
I was playing around with Discover and if I enable it in PMS, the UI menu corruption disappears.
How is the new version (1.56.1) behaving on your side?
Same as previous version. Didn’t expect any fix to the UI menu issue as was not listed in the update
Issue still there on Version 1.57.1
Issue still there on our two Samsung TVs.
Note, if I enable Discover etc, the issue disappears.

I have a new problem with the version 1.59.0 on windows the gui crash then playing MKV files and MKV files with subs causes plex HTPC to crash completely after a few seconds, this this the same problem with plex app as well
Can you please share your Plex client logs?
