Plex HTPC not showing .ass subtitles on transcodes because mediaBufferSize is not an integer

When I play some 10bit anime files on my windows plex htpc, and I ask it to transcode the file to a lower resolution I get the error:

[Req#281df0/Transcode] Invalid value for mediaBufferSize property: 157286.4

This prevents the .ass subtitles from showing up on those streams. The same file can be played on plex windows, plex browser, or plex iOS. The log file from plex windows shows that it sets mediaBufferSize=157286, thus cutting off the decimals and the plex server is able to transcode it properly.
