Anybody else seeing an issue with Plex HTPC for Windows screensaver not loading? I tried all three options to no avail.
I’m on 1.37.2.3674-ef9fa6e4 and screensaver runs as expected.
Maybe try a repair install or at the least a reset within the app ?

I tried a reinstall but still no luck.
Update: A reset within the app fixed it. Thank you!

Well, I thought I had this resolved, but when I exited the app and entered back in, the screensaver stopped working again. Here are the logs:
Another update. I did a complete uninstall including deletion of the Local AppData folder, reinstalled and the screensaver is still not loading.
Any help would be appreciated. I love that screensaver.
One further update. The screensaver will start to work and stay working if you start a movie or TV show. Upon exit, it will stop working again until you start a movie or show.
Could you post a log which includes you starting and ending playback?
Sure, Here is a log where I opened the app, gave it a minute to load the screensaver (which it didn’t), and then started and stopped playback.
After several updates, this is still not working for me, so I am assuming the issue is on my end. Any ideas?
You were asked to post a log by one of the developers but unfortunately this was during a time when the app was inadvertently including tokens in the logs and a mod removed your log from the post. Could you collect application logs again (using the latest version of the app) and post them here?
Sure thing. Here you go. I opened the app, waited a minute, and the screensaver did not start. I then started a movie and immediately shut it down, waited another minute, and the screen saver started.

Thanks for the logs. I’ve identified the issue and a fix will be in an upcoming release (not next week’s release but likely the release after).
