Help you with what?
Does the DAP allow installations from Google Play store?
I’m not aware of an alternative side load option w/ Plex offering the APKs for download.
I own an A&K SR15 which allows APK installs. I haven’t tried Plexamp APK yet but I plan to. I recall A&K recommends apkpure website for APK dl’s. Please let us know if you try this before I do
https://apkpure.com/plexamp/tv.plex.labs.plexamp is what I’d try for A&K.
Thanks about APK, but que xapk installer cannot install que plex in the Kann. I hope Plex and A&K make this possible soon. Sorry and thank you
You are right @luizbechtlufft996 . Today I tried to install both Plexamp apk’s and xapk’s on my A&K SR15 without success (I tried previous versions too, again no luck.) I will continue to use AKConnect to connect to my Plex server until we get Plexamp on A&K.
Mine is an entry level device, so I’m not counting on success even if you get it to run on Alpha. Please post any updates. Thank you.
A&K players use Open APP Service. The Open APP Service enables users to install specific APK music streaming apps to the device. Here is a link: Open APP Service Instructions – Invixion Inc.
The website says: “Please note, you cannot install any XAPK files (on Astell&Kern players.) You are still limited to apps that are currently whitelisted by Astell&Kern.”
Is there a way to get PlexAmp whitelisted by A&K? A&K DAPs are quality audiophile products and I believe there are many people like me who use Plex for mainly audio needs. Thank you.
Reviving a question: Is there a way to get PlexAmp apk whitelisted by Astell & Kern? I’m almost sure they’ll consider doing that once they hear about it.
